Upcoming Community Acupuncture
October 29, 2025

Dear Friend,

Here is the schedule for my upcoming community acupuncture events (through November) at the wonderful friendly Healthy Way store in Lynnwood, Washington!

If you have never done a community acupuncture session before, give it a try. If you have tried it before, you know how relaxing it is—come back to say hi to us. Give yourself a self-care treat and then talk to the friendly staff who can assist you in finding anything you need in the way of supplements after the acupuncture treatment!

Did you know that acupuncture is the fastest growing 'alternative medicine' in the West (and in the U.S.)?

Are you wondering how acupuncture works? Here are some fun and interesting facts about acupuncture.

  • Enhanced Immune System:
Autumn is associated with the lungs in TCM, which play a key role in immune defense. Acupuncture strengthens lung function and bolsters immunity, helping you fend off seasonal colds and respiratory infections.

  • Allergy and Respiratory Relief:
Dry autumn air and falling leaves can trigger allergies and sinus issues. Acupuncture supports lung and sinus health, easing symptoms of asthma, congestion, and seasonal allergies.

  • Improved Sleep:
As daylight fades earlier, acupuncture can help

recalibrate your circadian rhythm. It supports deeper, more restorative sleep and helps combat seasonal insomnia or fatigue.

  • Stress Reduction & Emotional Clarity:
Autumn is a season of reflection and release. Acupuncture helps regulate emotional energy, reduce anxiety, and promote mental clarity—supporting the natural introspection this season invites.

  • Digestive Support:
With seasonal dietary changes—like heavier, warming foods—acupuncture can ease digestive discomfort, reduce bloating, and support gut health. It also helps regulate the large intestine, which is emphasized in autumn wellness.

  • Pain Relief:
Acupuncture remains a powerful tool for managing chronic pain—especially joint stiffness and muscle aches that may worsen in cooler weather. Seasonal

treatments can help ease arthritis, back pain, and sports injuries aggravated by damp or cold conditions.

  • Women’s Health:
Acupuncture continues to support menstrual health, fertility, and menopausal symptoms. As the body adjusts to seasonal shifts, treatments can help maintain hormonal balance and emotional steadiness.

Thank you for reading and consider using acupuncture to help you strengthen your immunity in the winter season. Your body will thank you for it.
